A situation to stabilise before restoring
The first step focused on oral hygiene and periodontal treatment. This groundwork was meant to allow the rest of the treatment to continue in a more favourable environment and to prepare for the restorations.
Keeping teeth wherever possible
The upper right lateral incisor could not be kept in the long term. An extraction was carried out, followed by the placement of an implant with immediate loading. Particular attention was paid to the emergence profile, that is, the way the restoration fits within the contour of the gum.
The upper right central incisor could be kept thanks to root canal retreatment, followed by a build-up designed to receive the restoration.
Harmonising the gum line
Flapless crown lengthening was then carried out on the upper left central and lateral incisors. Its aim was to even out the gum levels before the ceramic restorations were made.
The result in detail

The ceramic restorations made it possible to rebuild the front teeth and restore continuity to the smile. The work focused on the shapes, the proportions and how the restorations blend with the neighbouring teeth and the gums.
This result is part of a step-by-step approach that combined saving teeth, replacing a tooth that could not be kept and harmonising the gum line. Regular follow-up is still needed to look after the teeth, the implant and the restorations.
