Data controller
Who processes your data.
Dr Jérémy Haccoun, dentist, 119, rue du Président Wilson, 92300 Levallois-Perret.
This site has no contact form, no user accounts and no database. It shows no advertising and does not sell, rent or exchange any data. Two third-party services can be loaded on it, and only if you accept them: a Google Maps map and audience measurement. Until you have accepted, neither is loaded and no request is made to them. The other data processed are those that any hosting produces for technical reasons; all of it is detailed below.
Appointments are booked on Doctolib, through a simple outbound link. Nothing is sent to Doctolib until you click.
Server logs
What the host records.
Each time a page is viewed, the host automatically records the IP address, the date and time, the page requested and the type of browser. These records are used only to run the site and keep it secure. They are not used for commercial purposes, nor cross-referenced with other information.
Legal basis: the legitimate interest in having a working, protected website, within the meaning of article 6.1.f of the GDPR.
Transfer outside the European Union: the site is hosted by Vercel Inc., a company incorporated under US law whose registered office is at 440 N Barranca Avenue #4133, Covina, CA 91723, United States. These server logs are therefore processed in the United States, within the legal framework that applies to international transfers of personal data.
Cookies
What may be stored.
This site sets no cookies to show you advertising, and it neither buys nor sells any profile. It does, however, use audience measurement, subject to your consent, and one of its tools sets cookies that its publisher also uses for its own purposes, advertising included: this is stated plainly below. Here is everything that may be stored on your device, and in which cases.
An authentication cookie
Set only if you enter the patient area with the password given at the practice. It keeps you signed in for thirty days. Cookies that are strictly necessary for a service you have asked for are exempt from consent.
A display marker
The date on which the opening animation was played is kept in your browser, so that it does not play again on every visit. This marker contains no identifier, is read by nothing other than your browser, and is never transmitted.
Remembering your choices
Your answers to the questions below are kept in your browser for six months, so that you are not asked again on every visit. They never leave your device. Keeping a choice you have made is part of the service requested and does not require separate consent.
Two questions, two separate answers
The banner shown when you arrive asks two separate questions: the practice map on the one hand, audience measurement on the other. You can accept one and refuse the other. Refusing is as easy as accepting, as both answers can be given in a single step, and continuing to browse without answering never counts as acceptance: without an answer, nothing is loaded.
The Google Maps map
The practice page offers a map provided by Google. It does not load by itself. Until you have accepted, there is no map in the page, no request to Google, and nothing is stored on your device by Google.
If you accept, your browser contacts Google’s servers when you view the practice page. Google then receives your IP address and the page viewed, and may set its own cookies. Google LLC is a company incorporated under US law: these data are processed in the United States.
Google Analytics
If you accept audience measurement, this site loads Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC. It tells us how many people visit the site, which pages they open, on what type of device, in which language, and by which route they arrive. It also reports clicks on the Doctolib appointment booking.
Two cookies are set, _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, for thirteen months, in line with the recommendation of the CNIL, the French data protection authority. The data are kept for fourteen months in Google Analytics, then deleted.
Google uses your IP address to infer an approximate location, at city level; Google states that it does not store it. Google LLC is a company incorporated under US law: these data are processed in the United States.
What is never transmitted: no text you type, no content from the patient area, nothing that could identify you by name. The name of a condition or a treatment is never linked to a person: we know that a page was viewed, never by whom.
Microsoft Clarity
If you accept audience measurement, this site also loads Microsoft Clarity, provided by Microsoft. It produces heatmaps and scroll maps, that is, an aggregated picture of where visitors click and how far they read, and records the course of visits as replays.
These replays are configured in strict mode: all the text on the pages is masked on your device before anything is sent, and so never reaches Microsoft. Input fields are masked in every case and cannot be revealed. What we see is the outline of the page, the movements and the clicks; not the words.
The patient area is excluded entirely: Clarity is not loaded there at all.
Clarity sets cookies on this site, _clck and _clsk, and cookies on Microsoft domains, CLID, MUID, ANONCHK, MR and SM. Microsoft states that the latter are also used for its own operational purposes, advertising included. We gain nothing from them and have no access to them, but you should know this before accepting. Advertising storage is explicitly refused by this site on every load. Microsoft is a company incorporated under US law.
Refusing audience measurement, or withdrawing your consent later, prevents Clarity from loading and deletes the cookies it may have set.
Legal basis: your consent, freely given, separate for each purpose, and revocable at any time below.
Your preferences
Changing your mind.
You can accept, refuse or clear your decisions at any time, purpose by purpose. Clearing your choices brings the questions back. The rest of the site works the same way in every case.
Reading your choices…
Practice mapShows the Google Maps map on the practice page. Your IP address is then sent to Google LLC, a US company.
Audience measurementTells us which pages are viewed, where visitors come from and how pages are browsed. Two tools: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity. No text displayed or typed is recorded, and the patient area is excluded entirely.
Fonts
No call to a third party.
The fonts are downloaded when the site is built and served from its own domain. Your browser never contacts Google’s servers to display the text of these pages, on any of them. The only exceptions on the whole site are the practice map and audience measurement, both subject to your consent and inactive without it.
Clinical photographs
Health data, and treated as such.
The photographs of clinical cases shown on this site are personal health data. They are published only with the written consent of the patient concerned, obtained separately from consent to treatment, and specifying the media on which the image may appear and how long that permission lasts.
This consent can be withdrawn at any time, without giving a reason and with no consequence for your care. You simply need to tell the practice: the photograph is then removed from the site and from communication media as soon as possible, and within thirty days at the latest.
The published files have been stripped of their metadata: they contain no date of capture, no location and no device information.
Images kept in the medical record are subject to a separate regime: they are kept there for the traceability of care, without being published.
These images illustrate individual situations. They are neither a promise of results nor an indication for treatment.
Patient area
No data requested.
Access to the reserved area is by a single password, given at the practice. No name, no email address and no personal data are requested or stored. This page is not indexed by search engines.
Your rights
How to exercise them.
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and data portability. To exercise these rights, write to the practice at the address given at the top of this page.
If, after contacting us, you consider that your rights are not being respected, you can lodge a complaint with the CNIL (Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés), the French data protection authority, 3 place de Fontenoy, TSA 80715, 75334 Paris Cedex 07.
Retention
For how long.
The host’s server logs: a few weeks, according to its retention policy.
Patient area authentication cookie: thirty days.
Your choices about the map and audience measurement: six months, in your browser only.
Audience measurement cookies: thirteen months.
Audience measurement data in Google Analytics: fourteen months.
Published photographs: the period set by the patient’s consent, and until it is withdrawn.
This policy may change if the site changes; the version in force is the one published on this page. See also the legal notice.
