Principle

Ranges, not price lists.

The same procedure does not mean the same thing from one patient to another. Restoring a chipped incisor and rebuilding six worn front teeth carry the same name and use the same material, yet they differ in duration, in difficulty and in cost. A single price would give a false sense of precision.

The amounts below are therefore ranges. They are the ones published on the practice’s Doctolib profile, reproduced here exactly.

All of this information is given as a guide. Each treatment is preceded by a diagnosis, then by a detailed written quote given to you before any procedure.

Consultation

The first appointment.

€23 to €60

This is the time for the examination, for listening to your request and for the diagnosis. No treatment decision is made before it. How it works is described on the aesthetic consultation page.

Factors

What makes an amount vary.

Four factors explain most of the differences, and they are clinical before they are financial.

The number of teeth involved

This is the simplest factor, and often the most decisive. A single tooth and a complete front section are not the same project.

The initial condition of the tooth

The amount of tissue remaining, the presence of old restorations and the conditions for bonding determine how difficult the procedure is, as much as how predictable.

The technique and the material

A restoration made directly in the chair and a piece designed in the laboratory involve neither the same time nor the same steps. This is the subject of the article composite or ceramic.

Planning

Photographs, a digital impression, a plan and a trial in the mouth come before the most extensive treatments. This study time is part of the treatment, and it avoids doing more than necessary.

A lower amount does not mean a cut-price treatment: most often it reflects a more conservative solution, chosen because it was enough. That is the principle on which the practice works, set out on the approach page.

Not listed

Treatments that do not appear here.

The treatment of tooth wear, adhesive restorations, layered composite, gum contouring, implant restorations and smile design do not appear in the list above.

This is not an oversight. These treatments combine several procedures, in a number and an order that vary with each situation: their cost is set on a treatment plan, not as a range. It then appears in full on the quote.

Reimbursement

Health insurance and cover.

The practice is contracted with the French national health insurance (conventionné) and accepts the Carte Vitale.

For routine care (decay, root canal treatment, extraction), the standard tariffs apply and the French national health insurance (Assurance Maladie) reimburses 60% of the amount. The rest may be covered, partly or fully, by your top-up health insurance (mutuelle).

For dental prostheses (crowns, bridges, inlays, onlays, implants, dentures), a quote is always given beforehand. Depending on the prosthesis, the fee is either capped under the French “100% Santé” scheme or set freely by the practitioner; your top-up insurer can review the quote before you decide.

If you are not covered by the French national health insurance, reimbursement depends on your own insurance. The detailed quote can be given to your insurer.

Quotes and payment

Nothing starts without a quote.

The quote is written, itemised procedure by procedure, and given to you before any treatment. It shows the amounts, the reimbursable part and the estimated amount left for you to pay. You have the time you need to examine it, send it to your insurer and ask your questions.

Accepted payment methods: cheques, cash and bank cards.
